Eggtopsy: What happened to my egg? {Graphic Pictures}

Pics
Actually I had an egg like that last time I incubated and it was still alive and attempted to hatch and move a couple day later, but it didn't make it cause I helped it too soon... I'd say leave them eggies in there for a lil while longer and hope? What day are they on?
A few days after hatch date. im too scared to do the full eggtopsy in case they are still alive..

Quote: IF THERE IS NO PIPS you can do the float test!!! refer to the information given to you.... and then you can pip along the upper side of the air cell line, dont go below it , when you get the air cell top off the chick you can see the inner membrane and the chick....... you will be able to tell if its alive, and so on.... just push on it if it hasnt moved and see if it moves, if it doesn its dead

Okay, i will go try just now.

What is going on here?! i have peeled back the membrane to find a hair dotted air bubble!?

After opening up the egg fully, it was positioned to the small end with its head under it's right leg rather than wing. it's hair just wiped off as i brushed past it. At least I can stop blaming myself for it not hatching, it just couldn't position itself to the right end.

A very unsuccessful first hatch, one had a huge hairy air bubble attached to it, one had feet deformities (so im glad it died in shell rather than get out and be culled) and one was positioned to the bottom.. this is a bad night, lucky i have back up chicks as i was pessimistic about my first time incubation anyway. I feel guilty now. Arghh. I'm getting a Silkie to do it next time!!!
