Eglu Omlet... Thoughts?

For those who have this coop... I wanted your thoughts on it. Honest reviews.

Keeping in mind, I'm not thinking about using this as a coop. I was thinking about using it as a broody box. Some place for a hen to brood eggs and raise her chicks until they can get up into the main coop.

From my research into them in the past, I assume it would be a very expensive broody box. But people do pay for convenience. The question is if you are willing to dole out the $$$ in order to not need to build your own for much less $$$.

I know I could build one for a fraction of the cost, but in order to purchase the tools to do it.... My husband isn't a buider. I could do it, but I don't have the tools.

ETA: It was a thought... I'm also looking into other avenues... I just thought it would be easier to clean etc...

We have the Eglu Cube and it is super easy to clean with a high pressure sprayer, or a hosepipe and brush.

We're thinking getting an Eglu cube (buying online tomorrow for full use coop), and we went through a bunch of reviews on the omlet website and off. We think it's a great choice!

Have you asked anyone about building one for you? It might be worth looking into. I didn't find what the dimensions were, but it appears incredibly small. Especially for the money.

I have an Eglu Cube with a 3 meter run. Purchased it last year. This is my first time with chickens, I've raised pigeons and quail over the years.
I love the cube easy to clean. The run is nice and easy to move but I also made an additional portable "A" frame 8 by 10 feet. The Cube is fantastic to keep clean. If I were to do it again I would only buy a 1 meter run and build the portable run similar to what I have now.The short Eglu pen is hard to get inside to scope poop. The Eglu is over priced but for me the ease of cleaning convinced me to make the purchase.

Ha! It was the other way around for us! I got the cube with a 1m run and then two years later (when I decided to move it out of a fenced-in area) I got an additional 3m, making it a 4m run.

Our location is rocky and sloped, so the somewhat flexible Eglu run works in carefully chosen locations, whereas a rigid A-frame would not.
