Hi Amy,

Elanco (makers of Elector PSP) say opened product lasts for 3 years, if properly stored.
The most essential thing is to protect it from light exposure.
The purpose of the dark green bottles is to avoid UV exposure during use. It should also be stored in a dark cabinet at normal room temperatures.
Elector should also be shaken monthly. The product can fall out of suspension if it's left to sit for a long period, and once it separates it is no longer effective and can't be brought back into solution.

The product label says it should be mixed fresh for each use.
The bottle I have is brand new and stored carefully.
