I know we have an actual Guitar center but remembered a friend from high school saying they were pricey. I was looking at spending around $200-250 for everything he needs to get started.

I have nothing to add, except I wanted to brag that I have a 1995 Sunburst Stratocaster (USA) and a Marshall tube amp.

I largely have given up playing as it was solely a ploy to get chicks.

My hubby has a bunch of them in the basement. Some fenders , a first act(for the kids) a few basses too. His most priced possesion is a Rickenbacker bass. Last year for his birthday he made buy him some gold connection cable.
