OMGOMGOMGOMG!!!
I got new batteries for my nice LED flashlight and i see airsacs in all eight eggs! The big ones from the one hen have thicker and darker basecolor shells so it took an extra minute for my eyes to adjust and look em all over thre times to be sure but i faintly see airsacs!

Hahaha i guess i have been more expecting them to not hatch or only one or so hatch.. i nearly dropped the first egg when i saw the airsac i was so excited!!!

AHHH I am just so stoked now! I guess this means i really need to have everything ready for my brooder :) Lockdown is tomorrow!

Since they went in at 9 i need to start lockdown at 9 correct?
Oh gosh i dont think i will sleep at all until these hatch!
Thats how I do it, but they don't have a watch so its not critical...

That made me laugh out loud at my desk at work. I think it's too early to be checking in on the BYC.

Oops sorry, too much coffee this morning. Didn't mean to be so funny so early...

On the other hand, if I should hatch one wearing a tiny Rolex...I'm gonna retire...

This is intriguing. I'm more curious about using my "Triple Dipper" (it's a crock pot that barely gets warm so you can keep things you've already cooked at an edible temp... it won't even melt fondue chocolate or anything) but we're probably going to wait a bit before I hatch anything.

Oh please do...

I'll plug it in tonight and check how warm it gets. I already tested my dehydrator, big crockpot and rice cooker. Out of curiosity. Haha. They all hit about 150*F. But the Triple Dipper is only supposed to have a range of 100-110 degrees max. I feel like I can make that work... Although I may not hatch anything for another month or two... I'll make sure to start a thread on it.
