Boy don't know if I can sleep tonight sheesh Kitty.
Do you have towels up the sides now?
My sides inside were a bit on the warm side so I have the cloth over them now...that's why I ask.
Took the wire tray out and have thick face cloths on bottom.
Eggs are still in cartons till hatch time.
Mine are bantams so too small to stay in cartons.
Guess I could cut the carton height down though? hmm
Come on Kitty Chickees!!!!

I can't whistle so I recorded the new chicks and play that to mine LOL
My teenagers are getting used to this craziness - they don't even roll their eyes anymore. They even seem 'interested'.

Nothing so far this morning. This is driving me crazy! I want to get in there and candle some but, I know I must leave it closed!

I've been watching this thread for ages. I really want to see if it works, but man... I feel your frustration. LOL

Patience is a virtue that I don't possess.

I'm crossing my fingers they hatch for you!

Hey girl hang in there I amsaying hatching prayers for ya. I understand the feeling I am still sitting on 9 in the bator and it is killing, I just want to check. So keep the hot pad off that bator LOL

Yep been watching this thread for 21 days now lol

Happy Mothers Day all!

If they had incubators "in stock" here I think my kids would have gotton me one but I know they have to be ordered in...not something my teens would do. But I do hope to get a good led flashlight...would hate to disown them on Mothers Day and all.

Hey shouldn't we all be in bed waiting for breakfast?

Heres something I would consider buying....a completely see through incubator that had a built in candler under each individual egg holder/turner. yea gotta build me one of those!!!!

Guess what I got? A Brower Top Hatch Incubator! The eggs in the skillet will remain there! The batch started in the wiper bator will go into the new incubator. I will still use the skillet bator for staggard hatches at hatching time. I sure hope the rest of you trying the skillet bator have good luck!
