**Electric skillet method-*Open for further questions-starting page 26

Hi Susan, how long have your eggs been in the pan? This weekend should prove the pan method out or not. I sure hope Kitty's babies start hatching. Isn't it exciting to watch this unfold?

Hey Kitty, any word on your fry pan hatch yet?

Laughing I almost wrote here kitty. lol

Nothing yet.

I know they had all developed but, as previously stated I may have lost them. Just not sure.

Dilly, As far as this weekend proving the skillet method or not there are a lot here who use regular incubators that have had bad hatches. If I don't get any to hatch it just means something went wrong same as any other hatch.

i believe in you ! even if this batch dosent hatch out. that doesnt mean that a few minor adjustments and a new batch of eggs wont hatch out the next time you try! i think the egg carton method would help

and i hope all goes well. no matter what happens, dont give up hope!

They were in the skillet for just 5 days and then my Hova arrived and I put them in there. They will go back in the skillet on day 18 since I put another dozen in the Hova when it arrived, and they will need to keep turning.

I got excited to see posts in this thread...thought Kitty had got something! You will Kitty I'm sure...and your right about any incubator and having a bad hatch!
The fry pan I'm using is awesome...the only thing that's gone wrong was my fault when my sleeve must have hit the gauge and turned it up...I'll be doing the panbator again!

So true, I believe in the pan method. In fact it is probably much better in the long run, no chance of poking holes or breaking a fry pan. Many have done it in the past. My grandma was telling us that they used to do that for our mom when they were little.

Keep the faith, a pan hatch will happen on here sooner than later I am sure.

Still nothing.

I wish I would get at least a couple. Especially since we found out last night that my oldest DD's friend is currently hatching too! It would be neat for them to have the chicks together.
