Susan is correct! So today is day 23. No noise, no rocking, no piping, etc.

I haven't candled yet but, if I can last until tomorrow it will be surprising. Anyone have any really good reason I should wait?

I haven't candled yet. I'm trying to be good and not touch them. It is hard though. I just keep telling myself the new set will be ready to candle in a couple of days, leave the skillet alone!

I did have to add some water today but, due to all the reading here on BYC I did over the winter I knew to use a syringe with a tube attached.

Actually it's supper time and then as it's a school night it will be concentrating on getting the girls to bed on time. Then I will follow them-4 a.m. comes awfully early!

What do you think I should do about this situation?
I think this Thursday is the hatch date for the old incubator...but after candling I found 3 now that were so full I decided to put them into the panbator to watch them closely....but...they may be hatching before Thursday...do I put the humidity up in case??

When you have time -- and there is absolutely no rush on this since I won't need it for another week or so -- can you point me in the direction of the information about adding water using the syringe and tube?

As I've mentioned, I'm going to be using the skillet again for days 18 - ?? and will need to be able to get and keep the humidity up in my skillet which is just like yours....

Thanks

Susan

Oh, nevermind....duh....I just did a search on syringe and found lots of good advice.....go take care of your kids and ALL.

Susan again

If I figured correctly, day 18 is tomorrow correct? You would be upping humidity then so upping it today for those 3 would be okay from what I have read but, is it you or Susan that is doing the staggard hatch? If it's you, you may want to move them all over because once you up the humidity you don't want to open the bator.

Put your water well under the hole in the lid so it's easy to get at.
