Electrolytes

I only give under severe conditions and then I give for 1 day a week mixed with their water. There is other water available (dog water, hedgehog water etc) but I know they drink from their drinker.
hope you can read my writing 🤪

Electrolytes are not essential for regular chicken raising. Some peeps do offer some to their flocks during HOT summer heat.
Often the chickens do get dehydrated during High Heat. Sometimes the problem is in the source of their water. If the water is too warm,,, chickens will not drink it.

Agreed, I have one of those acorn shaped drinkers and put an ice pack into it in the mornings, it is also in the shade.
