I hear some weak, super quiet pipping occasionally. I didn't check on the eggs since I started them in lockdown yesterday so don't know how long it's been since she started pipping...

No progress at all so far. Humidity is at 73%. Is that too low?

Yep! I got all that. I have a small coop, with the only resident being my slightly non consensual silkie rooster Fernando, that I might put Bippy and the chickies in. Only problem right now is what to do with Fernando because Bippy (along with every other member of the flock) hates him. But yes I will set up a brooder if Bippy is mean.

If she doesn't start hatching out by tomorrow I need to assist, did I get this right? Also, is it bad to open the incubator at this point?

Shouldn't be, keep an eye on it though, don't want too high either. Hatching also raises the humidity, so might want to remove some of the water in the bowl, not sure how much is in there.

Pipping can take awhile but we're not sure how long she's been at it either. Maybe go ahead and make a small air hole at end, just in case.
