I used to hand feed baby parrots and as long as those crops were empty you could feed again but let them empty completely at least once a day. That is the basic rule when hand feeding any bird.I was also told that the Harrison juvenile formula was the best, but I have seen peoples posts of other methods to "feed" a better source of food to the chicken to insure that she survives.
Any food recommendations would be great because her feeding time is soon, and her crop is empty.

well due to the constructions of our "little farm" today has been one of those slow days, She was fed at 10, as meds were as well. so its a late start. She is getting her meds at 4:30 for noon, and 9:30 for her night time meds.I think the point they were trying to make is that you can feed them whenever their crops are empty or mostly empty, which in some birds, including poultry, means you can feed them every 2-4 hours. They also said that the crop should be allowed to completely clear once a day, and this is true, which is why it's not usually necessary to get up in the middle of the night to feed them.
