Emergence ! Looks like egg stuck in vent!!

I am not an expert but from reading other posts on BYC you should give her calcium. You can get it at the pharmacy and should keep a bottle on hand for these emergencies.

Calcium citrate is better but any calcium (eg calcium carbonate) will do. Tums is calcium carbonate. Calcium citrate should be available in the women’s health aisle.
There is a debate going on about dose to use but it is very safe in an acute setting so I have tended to give as many as the hen will tolerate. Most I have managed in one sitting was three pills.
Hope she does OK.
I am attaching a video of Eli when she had an egg stuck so you can see what it looks like.


She eventually managed to get that egg out and another one followed shortly after.

That's looks almost like what my hen was doing.
