I tried it! I dipped her beak in the water apple cider vinegar mixture! She did NOT like it.Any other words of wisdom?

No, they usually don't, but hopefully you kept trying. Maybe you can thin out the dose.?
 
i didn't think they would. And yes, I kept trying. I will continue untill i notice something wrong or she is better. I don't think i should thin the dose though.

I read the info others gave you and it's all very interesting. I have never experienced this but the first thing it sounded like to me was sour crop but yeast sounds right too. Probiotics and/or yogurt both sound like a good try. My chickens don't really like yogurt too much so i try to add things to it like scrambled eggs and uncooked oats. I live in a very hot area right now and all of mine are panting but some more than others. Sometimes the heat just causes a lot of distress. I mist mine with the hose and put frozen water bottles in the coop when they go to bed at night. I also cut watermelon in half and freeze it and give it to them frozen during the hottest part of the day. They love it! I really hope you can try some things and see if they help at all. I hate when my girls are sick. But I am always learning new things and open to the challenge of conquering these illnesses. I will be watching this to see how it goes :)
