I have seen this on Northwoods Law a few times. The guys are Game Wardens and they rescue duckies all the time.I know how you feel, I rescued a fawn on the way to town 4 years ago. 4 am on a highway with log trucks en route. Husband spotted it, I never even hesitated, scooped baby into my arms and sat in truck while hubby called for mama. If she were anywhere near she would have called to baby but nothing. Drove 13 miles to town with Junior nestled in my arms. State Police, Humane Society, not one person wanted to help. They all told me I should have left him there! On a busy highway? At 4 am? Are you out of your mind? So long and short we drove another 30 miles to bigger city of Vancouver and Fish and Wildlife office finally took over and took my baby to a rehabber where we watched him grow! If there is a Good Samaritan law for people than there sure as hell is one for animals in my opinion. Good for you Raenh for saving those adorable babies.
