Hi, I posted this somewhere else on BYC but thought I'd do so here too. I have a hen who jumped out of her nest when 5 out of 8 eggs hatched. The babies jumped out too and all are doing great. But she has abandoned the others in the nest. I candled and two look alive. I put them in a dish. I heated water to about 95 degrees under the dish and under lots of amluminum foil (to keep them out of the water level). I am watching them. Do you think they have any chance of hatching? They should need no more than 2 mored days. Thanks!

95 will not be warm enough.

A aussie girl hatched a duck using two glass pyrex dishes, a desk lamp and a thermometer.

You could try that.
