Emergency: Food/tablet stuck in gooses throat

This thread says that her vet said it was OK to give some Maalox to her chicken, so maybe a bit of Maalox, or a piece of a Maalox tablet would be OK until you speak with your vet tomorrow. Be extremely careful if trying to give the Maalox liquid … don't try to squirt it in your geese's mouth, just drop it a tiny bit at a time along the line of her beak where the upper and lower half meet. Then, call the vet first thing in the AM. Best wishes!

Thank you for all of your help. Unfortunately I don’t have Maalox on hand and live in the country so can’t get it tonight. I had a look at the list of medications though and found Pepto Bismol or Bismuth Subsalicylate. It says that it is safe for avian instead of duck or poultry. Will this work??

If it's safe for avian it's almost certainly safe for waterfowl.

FWIW, I think it I were in your shoes that's what I would try, though I would google it a little more first.

Oh, I think it listed mg/kg, so let me know if you need help figuring out a dose. All I need to know is what pepto you have.
