Thank you everyone! She's doing a little bit better and still hanging on, but not great still unfortunately. But since she's made a bit of improvement I'm hoping that she'll continue to gain strength.

You did your best and she lived a good life. It's always hard to lose one.
Oh. My. What a beautiful girl she was. I am so sorry for your loss.Unfortunately she was dead this morning. I went to check on her (she's was in the infirmary), but lying down with her eyes closed, limp. Her body was cold. She had food and water and seemed to be doing better the day before, so I'm not sure what happened. I'm really upset, and trying to decide if I should bury her or send her in for a necropsy. I know that a necropsy is probably the best idea so that we know what was going on, but I also usually want to bury my pets, as I feel that's more respectful. But I feel like it's my fault. Rest in peace, Cupcake

I know how you feel about burying your pets but. I have so many little 'chicken' graves all over our property that I've lost count. But please have her necropsied, knowing that in doing so her death will count for something as she will be helping you help the rest of your flock. You can set a pretty rock or make a marker for her in your yard to remember her by but a necropsy is the best way for you to know for sure what happened to her.
