no the oven light is the wrong kind of bulb... bummer I dont know the toaster oven has the lowest setting at 150 but it goes lower idk I will have to see.

Is it a homemade incubator? Does the thermostat control a power cord with a spare outlet? If so, you could use a hair dryer, curling iron, aquarium heater etc.

yes it is home made but it is just a styrofoam box with a shop light but my dad saved the day! he got home and he found a light bulb!

Great news! That's what Dads are for, to save the day! Ask him to install a second bulb for backup. Let us know how they turn out.

well my first batch of 12 eggs (now 6) is due to hatch any day now because yesterday they went into lock down and the second batch (the ones I had light issues with) is due april 3rd.
