Well we are back from the vet and she is doing fine. The veterinarian cut a slit in the sac, which we ended up finding out was her uterus or the equivalent of one in a chicken, and he popped the egg out. He stitched her up, pushed everything back in and put two stitches on either side of her vent to keep everything inside. I guess she might have a reproductive deformity that allowed the egg to get like that. Only time will tell if she will live. My family has agreed that if it happens again we will have to put her down =/. After care entails antibiotics, a watchful eye, and a darkened enclosure. Thanks everyone for the quick responses, it is so lovely to have so many people help out in such a short, critical time. I will post another update in a couples of days, thanks again.
