EMERGENCY!! Prolapsed penis on drake I'm showing - I need a VERY quick fix

I tried to refrain too, but so much bad information, I just had to emphasize the ridiculousness of a yearly fall-off. Extreme cases of common prolapse may have surgical possibilities, but naturally? No.
Quite right! I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

One of the sanity checks I do when it comes to poultry related health topics or issues is a google search of the "subject" and the words "avian medicine". Then I try to find two different references written or published by veterinarians. If I can find two, the information is probably trustworthy.

I'm curious... can you share with us where you read that?

Here are two places that say it:

http://scribol.com/environment/animals-environment/the-disturbing-mating-habits-of-ducks/

Now, here's the study they were talking about, and when you actually read through it, you will notice there is no mention whatsoever of ducks losing their penises each year. One article added that in for whatever reason, and then I'm thinking the author of the second article that doesn't mention the study read it in the first article, didn't fact check, stated it as fact in their article, and thus the spread of misinformation was born.

The study was done on muscovies, and you raise them. So do you find muscovy penises all over in the Fall? I'm thinking not :p

, of course I don't, lol.

Now I have images of you on all 4's, crawling around in your yard :lau

How ya been?
You know I gotta check poop, and on all fours is the best way! so if there were penises on the ground I'm sure I would have found at least one. FWIW, my duck mate year round.
