EMERGENCY! Rooster needs help to keep surviving

Post in Chicken Vet Corner on Facebook I think there are veterinarians in that group, stop the bleeding, dab and clean him up with a cool washcloth, apply antibiotics, if he can't see and is concious enough dip his beak in electrolyte water, keep him warm, make sure where he is staying is quiet, apply Neosporin without pain relief on his wounds, clean wounds twice a day, chickens are resilient I had one scalped to the skull and jaw bones exposed before by a silkie and he is perfectly fine now <3 how is he doing right now?

If he’s in pacific standard time he might just be getting out now. And I wouldn’t expect if he had to go in to school this morning logging in before leaving. We will need to be patient I suppose... Really hoping for more good news from him though!

Hopefully OP will update us when he/she can. I'm in HI it's only 1:43pm, school should be out at about 2:20pm, so if catching the bus, that's another hour or so but if in an after school program, that's out between 4-5pm.

It would be great if everyone listed their location so we at least know time zones, weather, predator and culture differences.

I mean what happened to the rooster not the video.

What makes you say that? If it’s BS or they did it to him themselves or something, it doesn’t make sense for them to post here asking for help? Do you have some inside information that we don’t have? If not, I think I’d rather give them the benefit of the doubt rather than be mean or accuse them of anything. The rooster is clearly hurt. So something clearly happened. And I don’t think we should judge until we have all the facts. Unless, again, you have some inside information.
