Update!
Last night he hadn't made any progress, but when I set him down on the shavings in his coop, he started bobbing his head down and nibbling with his beak as though he was drinking imaginary water. I immediately put the water bowl down in front of him, and he started drinking on his own! He still isn't eating, although he does perk up a little when he sees the food. His biggest problem is not being able to locate the food enough to eat, but I'm going to try and get some yogurt down him today. This morning he seems a little better, keeping his right eye open most of the time. He has almost stopped shivering and I'm adding electrolytes and immune system boosters to his water. I have yet to see whether or not he has lost his left eye though, and he may be partially blind in his right, though he can definitely see a little. If he does have one eye it's going to take some getting used to for him! His beak is also looking better, and he is way more alert. I don't want to speak to soon, but I think that he might be on his way to recovery!
I will keep adding electrolytes to his water, and keep you updated. Let me know what else I should be doing and what you think. I'll post more pictures soon. Thanks!
