I brought her inside the house when i saw her like this. She looks very weak. Do you have a drake? I would remove her for him for sure right now. Did she lay today?
You can take a dropper or small syringe with out the needle and give her tiny amounts of water with the vitamins right into her bill Never down the throat unless you know where to put it to keep it from going into her lungs. I am thinking she really needs more calcium than is in their vitamins right now to get her built back up. If that is her problem. Of course it could be something else, infection, egg binding, calcium depletion some other sickness. But for a laying duck they really need a good amount of calcium in their diet from laying mash and oyster shell, calcium of other ways.
I tried but she's refusing to eat or drinkAs Miss Lydia said, a calcium deficiency could cause this, especially if she has not been eating a balanced diet. Can you get some human calcium?
I really hope its not this serious! There's no wire or metal in the yard. I also wash their water container everyday and change their water many times a dayCould be any one of these alsoView attachment 1313172
Can you call around and see if you can find a vet that's open? Not eating/drinking could be a sign that there is something very serious going on.I tried but she's refusing to eat or drink
I called everywhere i knew ,none of them answered. I'm so desperate right now.Can you call around and see if you can find a vet that's open? Not eating/drinking could be a sign that there is something very serious going on.
I called everywhere and tried to contact vets. None answeredMaybe an emergency vet hospital? on holidays here some places have emergency animal hospitals they can take their pets to
I would continue to try and get some water into her gently.
Here is a good recipe for electrolyte formula which will keep her hydrated.
