My baby chick silkie ingested a drop of dawn dish soap???
Is it fatal???
what should i watch for??? im so scared

She is only a week old! I feel terrible she pecked at it on my finger and then i washed it off with water and a bubble came out of her nose.

Well animal rescue uses dawn to clean wildlife when there's an oil spill. Dawn is at least the safest soap you can use. I think she'll be okay, but I sure would like to know how it turns out.

I know they use Dawn dish soap to clean off birds stuck in oil spills because its pretty gentle. I would just make sure that your chick drinks lots of water and hopefully he gets everything flushed out.

What were you doing with soap on your finger near a chick?

I got them from a lady that had them all poopy butted. and poop really all over.
