Emergency!!

I thought my egg was a dud, went to do an eggtopsie and it is completely moving around inside the inner membrane... What do i do? I don't know if i should break the membrane and help it or let it be... A huge chunk of the shell is broken off. What should I DO???

What day is it on? Are you seeing a lot of veins in the membrane?

22 days? I'd recommend moistening the membrane and leaving it in the incubator. 21 days is a general guideline, not written in stone. Some have taken up to 25 days to hatch.

yes 22 days... he's very active now and moving around but i'm hoping he's not panicked and sufffocating... the membrane is intact and only about a quarter of the shell has come off.

the membrane is pretty sunken in on him... is that normal? I'm wondering if I should create an airhole for him??!!

I'd help him out at this stage. Just be careful and if you see blood, wrap him in a warm, wet paper towel and put him back in the bator, but I'd definitely help. But thats me lol.

snipped a tiny amount of membrane and there is a lot of blood... Any hope??
