What are your plans for these guys when they hatch, Emma?

I'm trying to come up with a good reason to hatch some that isn't "just because I want to."

That was my reason.

But I'm justifying it by saying it is good to be able raise and reconnect with your food source. And then you also know exactly what you are putting into your body, because you know exactly what you put into theirs.

The Thing is I've never given one a try. Eggs either.

Me neither. But I will once they hatch and I have to off most of the males.

What are you meant to feed to quail? My TSC sells stuff for chickens mainly. It’s pretty tiny.

Pretty sure you start them on game bird starter. Not sure if you keep them on it though? I know some people just use their normal chicken feed. Still working out what the best diet for them is.

Indeed. Giving me worse rabbit fever than I already had.

I swear I'm going to rebel one of these days. Buy all the supplies and a rabbit and raise it in my room and try to keep it a secret.

Could be boys and drugs... At least it's not boys and drugs...
