Well bred Japanese and Dutch bantams are as small as the larger size seramas and both are easier and cheaper to hatch and raise than seramas. Around 1lb for both of those which is equal to about a C class serama. The japs were also one of the contributing breeds to creating the serama so are fairly similar. I'm actually trying to breed some extra small japs. I moved my 2 smallest hens and favorite roo inside. Then I'm debating mixing in some Dutch bantams to see what interesting appearances I can get plus the dutch being slightly smaller on average.

I'm not sure how 'small' a tiny serama is, but I have some dutch mixed 'chicks' (all around 4 months old) that are very tiny!! They are about the same size as the 4 week old BR chicks running around the yard!
