They are just loving this,, I am so happy I found this site for them to see the pictures and read the instructions and all. I'm watching my first little pip and hoping it's going to be ok since it's a lot earlier than I had expected. I wish it was in the class!
 
OK, so I know NOTHING about Emus, but being as they are a prey animal, shouldn't the babies be standing/walking very soon after hatching? Is it a concern that he is not standing yet? I certainly don't know, but it seems like that is something that they would be doing very quickly!

Thoughts????

hmm.... I think my parents would KILL me! as I already am adding Geese, Ducks, Quail, Pheasant, Peafowl and laying hens this year! hahaha.. oh and 4 baby goats!

Wouldn't that be something if I randomly hatched an emu and said, Oh look what showed up!..... ah, I'd be dead. lol!
