Day 52 both are moving around but have not internally PIP'd as of today.

What was your incubation temp Grassman? The guy I bought my eggs from told me 97.5 and said his always hatch on day 49 to 51. So, I'm expecting mine to hatch between today and Wednesday. Today is day 49 for me. Hoping they sound SOON!!!!!!! Wishing you luck.

Sorry to jump in, but I think my emu eggs are losing weight too fast. I'm trying to figure out how I should adjust my temp. and humidity to slow them down. My incubator is set at 96.5F with between 15%-25% humidity.

Here's what I have so far:

Egg 1

Starting weight on April 20th: 581.3
April 21st: 578.4
April 22nd: 576.4
April 24th 572.1
April 27th: 566.0

Egg 2

Starting weight on April 20th: 542.4
April 21st: 540.6
April 22nd: 537.8
April 24th: 533.9
April 27th: 528.3

I'm very worried, it seems like too much weight loss too quickly. :(

Is the low humidity making the eggs lose water faster? I'm not sure if I understand why that would be/how it works.

I have no water in my incubator at all. I copied my weights from the 2 birds that actually hatched from the 6 eggs I bought. You will see the BIG differences in weight loss. The eggs that were perfectly losing the proper weight NEVER hatched.

Egg 1 -
Jan 23 - 566 - % goal loss 84.9
Jan 30 - 558 = 8 grams or 1.43%
Feb 06 - 548 = 10 grams or 1.79%
Feb 13 - 541 = 7 grams or 1.28%
Feb 20 - 533 = 8 grams or 1.48%
Feb 27 - 525 = 8 grams or 1.50%
Egg is wiggling, I thought was a dud LMAO!
Mar 06 - 515 = 10 grams or 1.90%
Mar 13 - 507 = 8 grams or 1.55%
Can hear chick chirping inside egg
Mar 15 - Hatch DNA sex = female

Egg 7 -
Jan 23 - 577 - % goal loss 86.55
Jan 30 - 563 = 14 grams or 2.43%
Feb 06 - 546 = 17 grams or 3.02%
Feb 13 - 533 = 13 grams or 2.38%
Feb 20 - 519 = 14 grams or 2.63%
Feb 27 - 503 = 16 grams or 3.08% Egg is wiggling!
Mar 06 - 485 = 18 grams or 3.58%
Mar 13 - 470 = 15 grams or 3.09% Can hear chick chirping inside egg
Mar 13 started hatching hole in egg. DNA sex = male

Your Egg1 should lose about 12 - 14 grams a week Your egg2 should be about 11 - 13 grams a week. Yours is 1 gram higher which is not bad for the first week. As you can see by my charts the weight loss goes up and down. To find the total weight loss take your starting weight and multiply by .15.
581.3 X .15 = 87.195 total grams now divide it by the 7 weeks = 12.46 grams a week average. Your egg lost 15.3 this week but next week it could lose only 10 grams and then your egg is on track. Hope you understand what I am trying to explain LOL Just leave your incubator alone til you know for sure. My 2 eggs I thought were both duds cause of the weight loss but lookie what I got from them

So Grassman, any updates? The only change for my eggs is every time we whistle they shake, so I'm expecting them to sound anytime. This waiting is killing me...
