Emu Hatch cam. He hatching now

I just put him back. I think I will leave him in for the night. He will do better I think and he will encorage the other two eggs to hatch.

When my two hatched they were fine in the bator for 2 days. They didn't start really eating for 4 days. Should be fine to leave it in over night.

I just woke up and saw a wet chick! The second one hatched. Did anyone see it?

I have no idea what you would do with all the eggs i thought they were exstint, guess I need to keep going with school

A large adult can stand erect to about 6', they tend to stand more like dinosuars normally, making them about 4.5ft - 5ft tall. The eggs are about the size of a de-husked coconut
This was one of mine as a 3 day old, with my 20lb beagle mix and my moms hands.

No, mine had a genetic wasting disease and were humanely euthanized. At 5 months old they were tall enough to bite the collar of my shirt.

When they grow up will they still have the white stripes? Are all those in the second picture yours? Ok I just looked at the 'at times inacurate but somewhat helpful wiki'mabye i should get one.
