Hi! I have an emu who is about 3 months old. Today I came home and he was out in the rain with our chickens(he lives with our chickens and refuses to live anywhere else|). Is this ok for him/her...?

Are you asking if it's ok for him to live with the chickens? or stand out in the rain? First off, I would say living with chickens is fine as long as they don't get nervous or aggitated around him. Second, I don't think he would stand out in the rain if it bothered him, although I can't imagine why he would want to... I would say your Emu is perfectly fine!!!
Emu LOVE water! I used to get the little swimming pools from walmart each summer. THey loved to be sprayed with the hose, too

The chickens aren't botheresd at all!! They are all so funny together
...Glad to know Emus love the water! Guess I was just concerned that they are over-sensitive to getting wet like Ostrich when they are younger..shes about 3 months old!
