Emu trouble

I have a 3 year old Emu that is not getting up for the past several days. He is acting broody but the problem is there is no egg because both Emus we have are male.
In my town there are no Emu experts that I know of so I need help. What shall I do?

Please go up to top of page and click on FORUMS, then scroll down to "EMUS" click on that. Once you are there pick a thread by PYXIS. She really knows about Emus.

I am burning the midnight oil, but I shouldn't be, lol.

Have you checked to see if he has anything underneath him? Doesn't have to be an egg, I've seen people with emus that were trying to brood rocks and all kinds of other things. If there is something, take it.

sorry Pyxis, I never realize what time of day it is. Do most of my sleeping during day light hours and up most of the night.

I didn't see anything under him. I really think that he is thinking there is an egg though. Crazy bird! Thanks for the ideas though!
