Do you still have the business card he showed you? The first thing I would want to know is if this guy actually worked there. His behavior doesn't sound right.
I would be tempted to call cps and talk with an administrator and report his behavior. Tell them it seemed out of line for the situation and you wanted to make sure he was actually an employee there. If he is an employee ask the administrator if this behavior is typical of all of the employees, or is it just him?

You make a lot of phone calls and get one to tell you what to do for free. They probbaly won't actually represent you - but call around long enough and you'll get one who has a conscious and give advice. If you're innocent you're innocent and the truth will come out if you take the proper steps.

Man I wish the social workers around here were that diligent about kids who don't go to school! My sister has two kids who were in the sixth grade who DO NOT go to school for an education...when I asked if social services would help her (she had some problems) they said there was nothing they could do! GOOD GRIEF...they hassle the good mothers and let the mothers who don't bother to get their kids to school off scott free?? This happens all the time around here!

i know this might sound bad now, i am not a racist.Let me say that. but in the "hood " little kids run around outside without supervision, kids with guns.... why is nobody there to stop that. i guess they are to scared.

Yes and if you refuse to let a male worker strip your female child they will remove them and take them to the ER to have the pictures.

You have every right not to let them on your property without a warrant! And they can not remove your child as a result. Even if you do not homeschool you should check into Home School Legal Defense Association

You pay for a year of "membership". You then have direct contact at any time with a family lawyer for free. And the lawyers specialize in specific state laws and federal as well. If CPS is at your door you say wait a minute I'm contacting my lawyer for advice and shut the door. You can then call and see what your immediate action should be. And most of the time the lawyer will request to speak directly with them. They are an amazing organization for families and homeschoolers as well!
Blessings,
Amy J.

If you have a child currently enrolled in a public school and don't plan on homeschooling they refuse membership.

1. Can I join HSLDA if I’m not currently homeschooling?

Yes, our membership is open to every family, except those who have children of compulsory age enrolled in public school, charter school, or a public ISP and are not planning on homeschooling.
