End of day 20

I never have pipping going on til the evenings of day 20 when temps & humdity have been correct. Patience.

It takes them 24 hours or longer from the first pip to hatching out of the egg. Patience.

I now have one baby. It looks like a Buff Orpington.

So cute. I will post pictures later. I have one more pip but nothing else on the rest. I'm just hoping that I get more to hatch.

I have quite a few more pips now. I think I might of had my days wrong. I'm not sure. I think maybe today is day 20 and tomorrow is 21. I feel kind of dumb now. I did all that worrying and it might have all been for nothing.

Don't feel dumb!
I've learned from this forum that the day of the week you set the eggs is day of the week in which they should hatch.
This clarified it for me because I was confused on which day to count from. I set my eggs on 1/18 (a Sunday) and the majority of them hatched on 2/8 (also a Sunday)
If the temps were where they should be that's when they should hatch.
Sounds like your hatch is going great!
