I have Buff/Lavender chicks at the moment, they seem to really have a huge wing difference. If I'm right I have 8 of 9 who are pullets based on wing sexing. Guess I will see!Can anybody tell me how to sex my 8 day old English Lavender Orpington? Feathers? Comb? Markings?
How did your wing sexing go? I know this post was a long time ago, but I found it when I was searching for lavender Orpington wing sexing information. Turned out to be opposite of what I thought! Lost all to predators before maturity, all but one adult as well. Starting out very small again this year.
