English lop rescued from butcher shop

I rescued an English lop bunny from a live poultry butcher shop. He was all alone in a cage. I couldn’t believe people eat lop bunnies. He is not afraid of people and he is now trained to wear a harness so I can let him explore the outdoors.

Wonder why that breed was there. Not great in terms of butcher weight. Mini lops are what we would usually end up processing, but that was more because they were culls or didn't sell in time.
