Just been to lock the hens up to find one of the bantams not with the others. Went to pick her up to put her to 'bed' and noticed her eyes seem larger than normal. The actual eyeball seems bulging slightly and the skin around it seems swollen but isn't swelling over the eyeball as that is larger too. There is no discharge or worms that I can see. No weeping. She seemed absolutely normal earlier in the day, normal droppings, eating and drinking normally too. Any ideas anyone please? Her comb does seem a little smaller /shrunken and has a black mark on it but I don't think she is laying at the moment so I wouldn't expect it to be lush.
