Enlarged joint

    Is there anything I can do for this baby's leg? Other than the bum leg she can't walk on, she's a healthy active chick.

    She may have an injury or a slipped tendon in her hock. Poultry Pedia Podiatry is a good website to read about slipped tendons. Leg bone deformities can be common in chicks, and the hock tendon can be problematic as the chick grows. A chick chair sometimes can be helpful to rest the leg.
