Enormous egg

What should I do about an egg this big?? Rather, what should I do about the poor chicken that managed to get this out? Anybody? Thanks in advance. 149 gr 5 1/2 oz

It might be a double-yolker; not usually anything to worry about. It happens sometimes. But man, is that a huge egg!

Poor hen! Lol I 've a few of double yolkers she should be fine just check her vent to make sure she didnt herniate but otherwise enjoy the gift!

One of my pullets laid a huge egg, not as big as the one yours did, but she was in that nest box straining away for over an hour. Poor thing.

My husband asked me what kind of bird it was, and I said, "A very, very, very, very sore one!" OUCH!!!!!

That poor girl deserves a medal for getting that sucker out! WOW!

Look for a limping chicken..Just Kidding......mostly, if you do see one acting odd check out her vent area.
She'll probably be fine.
