Would it be okay for me to use enrofloxacin or Tylan 200 as an antibiotic for my rooster instead of penicillin antibiotics like PenG and Amoxicillin? Would penicillin G sodium salts work in place of any of these?

His foot is swollen and smells unpleasant. I think it might be an infection different from bumblefoot, because there is no scab.

My rooster's case is nearly identical to this poster's- https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/bumblefoot-with-no-scab.1118417/

His foot looks like the picture at the bottom of the 2nd page - https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/bumblefoot-with-no-scab.1118417/page-2

EDIT:

After turning him on his back to take a picture, I did notice a spot that may be a scab or a wound on his little toe.

As of now, he's soaking in an Epsom salt bath. I think if that dark spot doesn't come off with cleaning, he probably has bumblefoot.

Bumblefoot is still an infection, so does anyone know if I should still give him an internal dose (oral or injection) of antibiotics, or if I should only clean and treat the foot?
