No massages as she was too stressed with me giving her attention. She was lethargic at first, panting too, but then was ok
Mine won't even eat watermelon anymore, which is a big deal since watermelon is her favorite. :( I'm so nervous about her. Panting and won't eat or drink anything anymore. Losing weight. Pooping clear liquid with a bunch of green in it.

Did you do watermelon only? Or did you give oil too? Was she eating her regular food during all that time? Or did you restrict to only watermelon? I just don't know what else to try. 😥

How full is her crop? Sometimes they don't eat on purpose so that they can get better. Is she a healthy size? She should feel heavy for her size in your arms.

I had her regular chicken feed but she wasn't interested in it. She lost alot of weight but passed all the straw.

Her crop is big. The size of the palm of a woman hand. And it feels like a water balloon, but with some stuff in it. I can feel a bit of grit, scratch, and probably some left over straw. But it doesn't keep shape like it did a few days ago (not doughy).

She is losing weight. Getting skinny. I'm starting to feel the chest bone. Each day she's feeling lighter and lighter :(

She is still preening herself all the time. Otherwise she just lays down and closes her eyes. 😥

I did use oil at first with my hen. Then I stopped when I started the digestive enzymes because I didn't want the oil to absorb into the straw and block the enzymes from breaking down the straw.

She may be clogged up further down. Either what she has in her crop is fermenting or liquids are not moving through.

You could try a molasses flush to move things along. 1/4 cup of warm water with 1 tsp molasses. It can help clear out her gizzard.
If she won't drink it you'll have to syringe it in her or tube feed it down her throat. There are videos and pictures on BYC if you decide to go that route.

It's no surprise she's not eating. She feels too full.
I would not offer regular feed until her crop clears.
Electrolytes might be more helpful for her to keep her energy up.

I believe things might be fermenting in there because I can hear grumbling sounds occasionally. I'm guessing gas due to fermentation? What should I do if fermentation is the case?

I've been wondering about using oil with the straw. I'm imagining if I were to put oil on a wad of straw in my hand - I feel like it would just make a ball/knot worse? But everyone on here keeps telling me to try oil so I don't know! I've tried it today but shes still the same. no solid poops today. Only clear with a bunch of green. I'm afraid the tiny bit she is eating isn't even digesting. I got her to eat a few bites of boiled egg yolk and some cucumber. But she's not eating much.

I gave another dose of miconozole this morning and plan to do the second dose this evening. I'm not sure if it's even helping. I'm only guessing she has yeast in there. She might not?

Would the sugar in the molasses fester up yeast is there is in fact yeast in the crop or gizzard? I'm willing to try anything but I want to tame myself so I'm not trying too many things at once.

@Yellow321 Did you find a digestive enzyme to try? The other benefit is that it helps stop fermentation and gas in people so should help in the crop.

I'm not sure if the molasses sugars could fuel yeast. But the flush should literally flush out her system and clear a gizzard impaction. Once her food can move through there shouldn't be a crop issue unless there is also another underlying issue.
