Equimax Horse Dewormer for Roundworms??

Liquid vs paste ivermectin makes no difference, it's all ivermectin.

Valbazen (albendazole) is my preference usually too, but I am unsure whether it affects the feathers the same way fenbendazole does. It also only comes in cattle sized bottles and is about $40, so a lot of folks don't like to get it.
Thanks for your recommendations! I will take a look into the valbazen.

The Equimax has 1.78% of ivermectin in it, along with praziquantel…. Do you think that this 1.78% is too low for treating the round worms? Do you think the ivermectin liquid (injectable for swine and cattle) is more effective since it is only ivermectin? That ivermectin I used before and it was great.

I saw one worm in one feces, so I thought I could treat the roundworms, in their very early stages.

Valbazen or Safeguard for goats will treat large roundworms.

The injectable for cattle is only 1%, it's less potent than the paste. My guess is that you got lucky using it before. The paste having praziquantel in it has nothing to do with its efficacy in treating large roundworms.
