Ereaders Ebooks ipad Nook Kindle Sony

My kindle 3 rocks. I am also looking into the kindle fire. I will probably get it. I read I love my kindle blog, posts lots of great info and lists free books with kittle blurbs about them frequently.

It is my understanding from the blog I follow that the kindle fire will be just like the previous kindles when it comes to books, you can manage which of your readers have which book on it and be able to have books on up to 6 different readers at a time -- think large family sharing books on multiple readers. Several people could be reading simultaneously as long as managed on same Amazon account, bought and paid for (or free is how I prefer it) with same amazon account. So you can keep old kindles active, use one at the pool (the old one in case something happens to it) and pick up the kindle on your night stand to restart where you left off earlier on another kindle if you wish.

I love my kindle, I didn't think I would ever part with my real books, but I love it. I still read bound books, but not as often as kindle books. Also I have compared iBooks pricing to kindle and find kindle pricing almost always cheaper.

I debated between the Kindle and the Nook. I had finally decided on a Nook Color (because we have B&N membership), when it came time for me to get a new cell phone. While I was there getting everything squared away for it, I was talking to the salesman. He pointed me to the Samsung Galaxy tablet. It was $150 and does everything my Android phone does, except make phone calls. I have the Kindle app AND the Nook app on it, and don't have to miss a thing. Yes, it has a data package to pay for each month, but it's worth it to me to be able to do everything I can do on it.
