In many places using antifreeze to poision an animal is covered under cruelity to animal laws, and if they can trace if back to you, it is big trouble. Now since the animal has been agressive on your property where your children are, tell animal control that, the dog is on your property acting aggressive to you, and you have toddlers. I doubt your neighbors are going to change. If they do go pick it up from impound, well, then it needs a perminant solution. As I'm sure you realize the dog is the same height as your much lighter kids. At this point I would stop trying to talk to the owners, they don't care, if your dad butts in, let him know the dog is already aggressive to you, and you're doing this to keep his grandbabies intact.
