Ion blinked once, then twice at the girl standing in front of her. She looked down at her hands to see something that resembled a map. She scrunched up her eyes, getting a better look at it. It was...no, it couldn't be. A map out of the city?! But how did she get that?! Iona didn't care, she jumped out of the garbage can and strode over to her quickly, "your leaving aren't you? your just like me, please, please take me with you!?" she asked, desperately. She had never done this before, she was always so calm and collected, and never that emotional. She was a statistical type of gal, a smartie, and she didn't really believe in over reacting.
 
"I'm not leaving..." Rick said in response to her enthusiasm. "Look, it's just a stupid map. It's from a book series. See? The main character's home is right there. My friend wrote something on it and I couldn't wait to read it until I get home. Hey, do you wanna go to my house and I can show you the books?" She cut out the illumination spell and stood up, putting the map in her pocket. Please catch on, Please catch on, please catch on...
 
Iona gathered herself together, feeling like an idiot. Iona stood up as well and acted all calm, like nothing had happened. "you know, statistics show that the average person lies to another about 11.7 times a day." she said, looking at her, then putting out her own spell."i can't go to your house. If i go anywhere where they are, i might be captured. I'm on the run, and i want out of the city. I know the map, because i have looked at the map of the city many times. I'm a scholar, so i know the facts." she said to her, hoping she believed her.

Leroyce started in surprise, the toilet paper dropping to the floor. Good thing it wasn't loud, and his portal snapped shut, he double checked to see if he locked the door. Cautiously unlocking it he peaked out of the bathroom. He saw a girl there, that's weird.... he thought, stepping back in and locking the door. he half contemplated taking a shower, but dismissed it, there was a girl out there, he would be content with sleeping in the bathroom. Just as a precaution, he turned the shower on, so she didn't think he was hiding from her.

The girl glanced toward the bathroom. It seemed like the only other person there was the boy. She went over to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Are you okay? I saw some sort of weird light under the door..."

Iona sighed, and quickly followed her, "wait for me!" she whispered and pulled on her hood hiding her hair and making her look like a young boy once again. "i never said that i didn't..." she replied and then said, "I'm Iona." Iona stuck her hand out there slowly and cautiously. What if she were a spy......
 
"Rick," she replied shortly,, but didn't shake her hand because that would draw more attention than two girls walking together. She started towards her home. When she got closer, she crept into the shadows of the backyard. "Wait here," she instructed to Iona, heading inside to scout out for the men who had been there earlier. No sign of them. "All clear," she poked her head out to Iona.
 
Iona shrugged off the fact that she had just rejected her and followed her. For all anyone knew, she looked like her younger brother probably, so it was a win win. Iona noticed the way she snuck around and asked her, "wait..are, are you being hunted too?" before she got an answer she disappeared and then came back to tell her to await there.
