Escape from Akuto City ~RP~

Leroyce glanced around before pulling open the "pantry". He sighed as he stared at it blankly for a moment, trying to think. He reorganized his scattered brain before he looked for something to possibly cook with. That's a good reason to be in the kitchen... right? He grumbled and leaned against the wall this was hopeless.

Tessa tilted her head, confused. Ok, so he wasn't doing anything that suscpicious...so, then, why did he act so weird when she had come into the inn? She glanced back at the girl he'd been talking too as a crease formed in between her eyebrows. Something wasn't right about her. Right now, she was standing deathly still and staring at her. Or at the boy? She didn't know, but it was giving her the creeps...

"Who?" Rick questioned. "We have to let them know of the danger!"
Danger. What a funny word. Defined as the possibility of suffering, harm or injury. No one ever said death though. The world is in danger, we're all in danger. Danger, such a silly thing..... Iona snapped back into it to see Rick frantically ask her about their names and said, "there were twins, Ari and Bri i believe, but i might be mistaken. And a boy merchant, i think, he came in from out of the city, he looked like he was heading in the direction of an inn. And there was another boy, but i have no idea about him." she said, looking down at the ground. Her emotions were beginning to leave her, her stabbing pain of missing her parents seemed to vanish almost completely.

Leroyce looked around the pantry once more. What should he make? a cake? sure, those were easy. He began to collect the things in the pantry he would need. The moment he stepped out of the pantry, he noticed Tess and froze. With a weird look on his face he set the stuff down on the counter, and without moving much, as if he didn't want to scare her (he was probably doing the opposite) reached down and got a bowl.

Tessa looked back at the girl, goosebumps raising on her arms. Something was definately not right with her. "Um, do you know that girl...?" She said in a strange voice, a frown forming on her face.

The girl looked up as another girl entered. Leroyce became even more awkward than usual. She had to get rid of this new person. There was no way she would be able to complete her task unless the girl was gone. Or if the girl was a... liability? They could make an excuse; she had a sudden, unexplainable heart attack. Nobody was around to call the paramedics. The two would have no suspicion of her; robots even made their chests move as if they were breathing, but of course they weren't. Going from the quick facial recognition scan, she looked up the girl on the database. Tessa. Her family had a history of heart disease. Even better for the cover-up. Infused with resolve, Rose prepared a second charge on her finger-pads. Careful not to touch herself, she walked around the room, glancing quickly out the window. Nobody was walking by. Perfect.

((Guys, robots have advanced so far that they are almost undifferential from humans. They don't just sit still and stare. Why would a secret government thing blow it all for the mission by creeping people out? *Rant over*))

Leroyce jumped slightly, wishing that he could be left in peace. "I-uh n-not really." He said ,fishing around the drawers for a whisk. once he found one he went to the fridge to get a few things out of there, momentarily hiding behind the fridge door. After he pulled some stuff out, he began to add things seemingly at random, but in all reality, he loved cake so new a few recipes by heart.

(I know, I know, been there done that sorry.)

((Ventus it is!))

Ventus woke up back at the HQ. His head was aching. Stupid musclemen... he thought, lightly pressing on the bruise that covered his lower jaw. He snuck outside to get some fresh air. He was never free, though, because he was constantly being tracked. He could never disappear. He felt a small tingling on the inside of his skull. He followed the feeling, leading him down the road and into the city... ((he's tracking either of your charries, Gertrude))

(I think Maisie's easier to track.)

Maisie hummed a random tune as she stared at her bedroom ceiling. A finger twirled a lock of her hair.
