Leroyce looked into his bag. "Oh... well I've... got some spices to sell.... we-my family..... just never decided to go through the trouble until now." And it was true, sometimes his dad kept stores of things so if they ever got short on money they could pull through. But of course, this was for his trip and nothing else. He felt a slight pang of homesickness again. Something inside of him kept asking why in the world am I talking to her? what if I mess up?The girl could tell he was uncomfortable with the topic, and also that her bosses were probably getting impatient. "Why are you out here this time of the year?"

"Just that, i might know some people who they could be looking for......" she said slowly and quietly. She had to choose her words carefully, especially if she didn't want Rick to leave her behind because she lied to her. But she also didn't want to put anyone else in danger. Ugh! What the heck am i supposed to DO?! Iona felt as though she might rip her hair out, which never happened.Ever since her parents died, she was feeling all of these new feelings, and it was hard to experience them and control them at the same time. Okay, its okay. Just..calm...down..."What?" Rick said. "What were you going to say?"
"But people would buy, and since there haven't been farmer here recently, i could bet that some people are missing things from their spice collection." He said bluntly, forgetting she was a girl. He felt very strongly about his opinions and really hated it when people decided that their opinion was better and tried to force it on him. His trip to the city had been for one reason, try to find some other magic users like himself. He froze slightly. Why was she here? "So... what-are you... selling?" he asked but his weird stops and pauses were normal at this point around girls."That makes sense. Selling now when the markets aren't overflowed is a good idea, although not many people would probably buy in bulk." The girl concluded. She felt a quick, sharp pain in her right hand and knew that they were very impatient. It made her noticeably flinch, though, which probably wasn't a very good thing if she didn't want to be noticed. She was a bit thankful, though, that they were alone there, so nobody would notice her trying to take this guy out. She thought a bit and felt the shock pads on her fingertips warm up. It'd take a minute for it to be ready.
