Escape from Akuto City ~RP~

The girl could tell he was uncomfortable with the topic, and also that her bosses were probably getting impatient. "Why are you out here this time of the year?"
Leroyce looked into his bag. "Oh... well I've... got some spices to sell.... we-my family..... just never decided to go through the trouble until now." And it was true, sometimes his dad kept stores of things so if they ever got short on money they could pull through. But of course, this was for his trip and nothing else. He felt a slight pang of homesickness again. Something inside of him kept asking why in the world am I talking to her? what if I mess up?

(Ventus?)

(Yeah!)

((Ventus it is!))

Ventus woke up back at the HQ. His head was aching. Stupid musclemen... he thought, lightly pressing on the bruise that covered his lower jaw. He snuck outside to get some fresh air. He was never free, though, because he was constantly being tracked. He could never disappear. He felt a small tingling on the inside of his skull. He followed the feeling, leading him down the road and into the city... ((he's tracking either of your charries, Gertrude))

"That makes sense. Selling now when the markets aren't overflowed is a good idea, although not many people would probably buy in bulk." The girl concluded. She felt a quick, sharp pain in her right hand and knew that they were very impatient. It made her noticeably flinch, though, which probably wasn't a very good thing if she didn't want to be noticed. She was a bit thankful, though, that they were alone there, so nobody would notice her trying to take this guy out. She thought a bit and felt the shock pads on her fingertips warm up. It'd take a minute for it to be ready.

"What?" Rick said. "What were you going to say?"
"Just that, i might know some people who they could be looking for......" she said slowly and quietly. She had to choose her words carefully, especially if she didn't want Rick to leave her behind because she lied to her. But she also didn't want to put anyone else in danger. Ugh! What the heck am i supposed to DO?! Iona felt as though she might rip her hair out, which never happened.Ever since her parents died, she was feeling all of these new feelings, and it was hard to experience them and control them at the same time. Okay, its okay. Just..calm...down...

"But people would buy, and since there haven't been farmer here recently, i could bet that some people are missing things from their spice collection." He said bluntly, forgetting she was a girl. He felt very strongly about his opinions and really hated it when people decided that their opinion was better and tried to force it on him. His trip to the city had been for one reason, try to find some other magic users like himself. He froze slightly. Why was she here? "So... what-are you... selling?" he asked but his weird stops and pauses were normal at this point around girls.

Her hand going back to normal, Tessa tucked her notebook into her book bag, slinging it over her shoulder as she rose into a crouch. She crept down the roof to the back of the inn, and gently lowered herself down, then dropped to the ground into a half crouch, to absorb the impact of the fall, with a soft thud. Shifting her book bag on her shoulder, shecalled around the side and walked into the inn.

Leroyce jumped to his feet as Tess walked in. Why do they always have to be girls? He wondered helplessly. He searched his mind for another excuse to hide in the bathroom, but finding none decided to go back into the kitchen to find something he could eat or bring with him. It was now blatently(spelling?) obvious that he was a train wreck around girls.

Tess frowned slightly. What was his deal? Looked to her as if she was the cause of that guy running to the kitchen. Or maybe not? She didn't know. She decided to follow to see what that was about. Quietly, she peeked into the kitchen so as not to be seen and tried to figure put what was going on.
