Filled with resolve, Rose started toward the kitchen. Fingers tingling, she walked into the kitchen, using the guise of refilling her glass of water to avoid suspicion. The sink was next to Leroyce. She had barely placed her fingers on the closest bare skin available -his hand- when the back door slammed open. Surprised, she pulled her hand away. She hadn't administered enough to induce unconsciousness, but it would knock a normal person off their feet for a couple seconds. Using her facial recognition software, she scanned the newcomer. It was the girl they had tried to get earlier. Her eyes narrowed.

Rick entered the building. "You guys gotta get outta here."

"What do you mean?" Tessa said, a bit alarmed by the warning in her tone. What was going on? And why had that girl followed them? Or was she just using the sink? She didn't know, and honestly wasn't sure if she wanted to find out.

"This is so weird..." Tessa muttered. "What danger?" She asked, hoping it wasn't what she thought it was. She was trying to avoid getting captured, had been for over a month. She wouldn't be captured now.
 
Leroyce jerked back when Rose touched him, sending electrical currents up his arm. He mostly looked surprised than in pain as he jumped away from her, the arm that she touched failed to respond. He took a few more steps back, with a look of utter confusion.

(If you are hit with a strong electrical pulse, it can mix up the electrical signals in your body, so they fail to respond to your brains commands for movement. He was also touching (with both hands might i add) the metal handle on the stove so it should have just been conducted through his hand.)

Rose quickly thought about the scenario... maybe if she pretended she was like them she'd find out about more of them? "Who? Who are they?"

Leroyce looked back at her. "What did you do to my arm?" he asked, his arm tingling suspiciously. And then the oven beeped. He looked at it a little guiltily, he inched back over and put the pan into the oven, with one arm, and quickly set the time before backing up a few steps again. Just as before, as if nothing happened, with the same goofy look on his face.
