Dominiques. I have 11 breeds and the Dominique is the friendliest. Orpington and Blue Andulusian as well as some of the Wyandotte. Not Campines, Lakenvelders or Sicilian Buttercups

My vote is for the Buff Orpingtons. I have 3 breeds but they are definitely the friendliest. Next time I'll only get Buffs.

my Wyandottes are super friendly. I'm getting 2 more breeds this week, so I'll have something to compare it to. But my Wyandottes are almost 4 weeks and they're always looking for me. When I put my hand in to clean the brooder they all 3 fly up to perch on my arm. It's a wonder how I get any cleaning done. They like the kids too.

i think it depends on the individual chicken (they've all got their own personalities), and how much time you spend with them, and how much you do for them (such as taking them out and digging them worms - kind of like showing them what to do like their mothers would do)

i've got an easter egger that will let me daughter do whatever - literally, whatever. she can hold it upside down and talk to her/him (not sure, thought it was a rooster, but now wondering if it's a hen), carry it around, run, pet it's fuzzy beard, whatever. the whole time, it's like "this is cool"

my cochins are a bit standoffish
